On Geekbench 6, the Apple M5 scored 4,263–4,305 single-core and 17,862–17,894 multi-core (4.61GHz clock, 4P+6E) and was widely described at launch as the fastest single-core result of any Mac or PC. However, those scores come from the fan-cooled MacBook Pro M5. The MacBook Air M5 is fanless, so its multi-core score may drop under sustained load, and no Geekbench result for the MacBook Air M5 itself was verifiable at the time of writing.

Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC certification requires 40 TOPS or more, so all four Windows machines qualify. But Apple does not publish a TOPS figure at all.
